OnlyFans agency cost and commission: what must be in writing.

A percentage alone does not tell you whether an agreement is fair. You need to know the calculation base, included work and what happens when the account or offer changes.

Direct answer

The real cost of an OnlyFans agency is more than its headline percentage. Compare the gross or net basis, exact scope, fixed and third-party costs, term, notice, exit and attribution over the same period. If “net” is not defined in writing with a worked example, the offers are not yet comparable.

01

Common commercial models

  • Revenue share: a percentage of a clearly defined gross or net base.
  • Fixed fee: a specific monthly scope independent of revenue.
  • Hybrid: a smaller fixed fee plus a performance component.
  • Pilot: limited duration and scope before a longer commitment.
02

What must be clear before signing

  • Revenue definition and the handling of refunds, taxes and platform fees.
  • Exact scope: strategy, content, production, publishing, messaging and reporting.
  • Contractor, software, studio, travel or media costs.
  • Minimum term, renewal, notice and early termination.
  • Attribution: what can and cannot reasonably be credited to the agency.
03

SELENE's position

The exact commercial model is not published before scope and capacity are fixed. Every suitable creator should receive the fee basis, included work, third-party costs, term and exit in writing before signing.

04

Compare the same period, not just the headline percentage

Use the same gross revenue in the worksheet and change only the commission basis. This isolates whether the agency charges before or after platform fees, refunds and other agreed deductions.

Then add every fixed or third-party cost separately. If two proposals define net differently, they are not yet comparable — request a written definition and a worked example from each.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does a lower commission always mean a lower total cost?

No. The gross or net basis, included services, fixed or third-party costs, term and exit conditions can materially change the total cost.

What does net revenue mean in an agency agreement?

There is no safe assumption without a written definition. The agreement should specify each deduction, its order and the treatment of refunds, platform fees, tax and exchange rates.

Does the worksheet send or store financial figures?

No. The calculation runs only in the browser, with no submission, storage or analytics event containing the values. Refreshing restores the initial example.
